Mr. Muhammad Nazirul Islam worked in the general insurance industry, both in the public and private sectors, for several decades. He was the Chief Executive Officer at Continental Insurance Ltd., City General Insurance Co. Ltd. and Asia Insurance Ltd. Before joining the private sector, he was Deputy General Manager (Re-Insurance) at Sadharan Bima Corporation. Mr. Islam obtained his BSS (Hons) and MSS degree from Dhaka University. He completed his Professional Diploma in General Insurance (ABIA) from Bangladesh Insurance Academy. Over the years, he has attended several professional training courses and workshops at home and abroad.
